Moneyball

Brad Pitt is my favourite actor growing up as a child, I seen all of his movies and I can honestly say I enjoyed them all. When I heard he was going to be the lead role in this film that is a potential nominee for film of the year I just couldn’t miss out. There are two main characters in the film, Brad Pitt who is a veteran in the film acting industry and Jonah Hill, a young actor who typically plays in comedies. These two actors paired up together is a pretty strange but at the same time very intriguing combination. The film is based on a true story and focuses on 2001-2002 time period when the Oakland Athletics were in trouble as they were labelled as the poorest team in the league. The Oakland Athletics general manager (Brad Pitt) will have to come up with a solution with the little resources that he has to create a winning team. Along with his assistant (Jonah Hill), they will scout out every potential prospect using a whole new game plan that no other team has ever even thought of. If they are correct they may have change the game of baseball forever. This is truly an inspirational film and a baseball movie unlike any other I’ve seen. Sure some parts were slow but overall a great movie. This film deserves an 8/10, Brad Pitt knocks em dead again!
Next week I will talk about the new film that just came out 50/50 with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogan. Should be fun, see ya'll next week!
